Provide a Pet a Pad — Sweet Jenny Needs a Home QUICKLY [PHOTOS/VIDEOS]
Mimi Campbell-McDaniel/Townsquare Media
Jenny is a young brindle pitt who was pregnant when she was taken to the shelter. Jenny was wondering the streets of Texarkana in search of food. She was able to have her babies in the shelter and now that they have all gone to new homes Jenny is ready for a new home too.
Jenny is a compact size weighing approximately 40 pounds. She is good on a leash and is very quiet at the shelter. She is happy to roam around the exercise area and check out all of the smells.
Jenny has been at the shelter for at least a year, maybe longer. She is still as happy and as loving as ever though. Pit mixes are hard to adopt out but if she has lasted this long maybe she has a chance. Jenny is in a kennel with another dog and as you will see in the video, gets along well with other dogs.
The shelter's adoption fees range from $40 to $144, depending on the gender and size of the animal or whether they have been spayed or neutered yet.
You can also have your pet micro-chipped for only $20 right at the shelter! That way if your pet is ever lost, he can be returned to you quickly.
The Animal Care and Adoption Center is located at 203 Harrison St., Texarkana, Ark. 71854 and is open Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
