Ava is a beautiful mixed breed female dog. She is sweet and would make a great agility dog as you can see in her video below.
Ava is probably a mix between a heeler and terrier. She is about 1 year old. She was dropped off at a business with her siblings.

Elle is a beautiful husky. She is sweet and very affectionate. Her fur is very plush and super soft. Poor girl had 10 puppies at the shelter, none of them made it. She talks when you ask questions--check out her video below!

Sweet Amanda is a sweet dog that will make a great pet for a single person or a family. She is approximately one year old and looks like a mix of Lab and Shepherd. She weighs about 25 pounds. Amanda is a little shy but will work out of that quickly once she gets into a home.

Teddy is a 2 year old black and silver Yorkie mix at the Texarkana Arkansas Animal Care and Adoption Center. He is very sweet and walks well on a leash.

Annie is a beautiful 3 year old, spayed dog that currently lives at the animal shelter in Texarkana. She is very calm and mild-mannered. Annie is house trained and walks great on a leash.
Annie was adopted recently but the manager of the apartment complex mistook her for a pitt and said she couldn't stay.
Annie is great with kids. The heart-broken man that had to return her to the shelter said that his small child climbed all over Annie and she was great.

On a recent trip through the Texarkana Arkansas Animal Care and Adoption Center, I noticed a kennel marked "Mayors Dog." I called Mayor Wayne Smith and found out that he boarded his dog at the shelter when he went out of town. This really hit me the wrong way because the kennels at the shelter are supposed to be used for dogs needing homes.
