Things That Would Make Downtown Texarkana Even More Appealing

Downtown Texarkana is one of my favorite places in the area. I would love to see it become more of a focal point for the area. Our downtown has so much character. But how can we keep it alive and thriving? What things would you like to see in downtown?

And what about affordable housing with more sidewalk eateries with specialties to attract business daily? Live music on the sidewalks during the day? Move more offices downtown instead of moving them in the opposite direction?

I know the big club didn't seem to go over so well but what about smaller bars and smaller venues? We do have a few small restaurants and bars downtown but we need even more interesting places to go. There must be tons of other ideas. We'd love to hear your ideas so we can include them in the next story.
