The Texarkana, Texas Police Department has shared its traffic statistics.Here are some of the results of the most recent traffic survey.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department regularly conduct these surveys to help identify the locations in Texarkana with the most serious traffic problems. The information, collected along with accident reports determine where the Texarkana traffic officers are most needed to work. These are the places that you can expect to see officers concentrating their efforts on over the next few weeks.

Richmond Rd.-highest location for traffic accidents.

Seatbelt - 35% non-compliance

Speed - 30% in compliance

The top speed during survey was 56 mph in a 40 mph zone.

New Boston Rd.

Seatbelt - 40% non-compliance

Speed - 26% in compliance

30% 1-5 mph over

39% 5-15 mph over

5% 15mph+

The top speed during survey was 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.

N. Stateline Ave.

Seatbelt - 35% non-compliance

Speed - 26% in compliance

35% 1-5 mph over

39% 5-15 mph over

The top speed during survey was 54 mph in a 40 mph zone.

St. Michael Dr. - location with the highest non-compliance.

Seatbelt - 34% non-compliance

Speed - 9% in compliance

36% 1-5 mph over

The top speed during survey was 72 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Mall Dr.

Seatbelt - 27% non-compliance

Speed - 19% in compliance

19% 1-5 mph over

The top speed during survey was 78 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Seatbelt - 34% non-compliance

Speed - 25% in compliance
