Looking For Something To Do This Weekend in Texarkana?

It is January and there are some things going on in Texarkana that you can do with the family and are safe for you to do as well.

1. Live music in Texarkana. There are some great bands to check out. From the sounds of Texarkana Favorite, The Moss Brothers to  Vernon Hinesley you can listen to some great local bands. Remember that Arkansas clubs must close at 11 pm so showtimes will be a little earlier.

2. Yappy Hour. This is a free event put on by Muttworks. You can meet at 7 pm tonight for a little dog walk. The event takes place at Hopkin's Icehouse in downtown Texarkana.

3. The Texarkana Museum Systems has a great activity on Saturday. 'I Adore to Restore' will be on Saturday afternoon at the Ace Of Clubs House.

4. There are two Yoga events this weekend. Yoga Sculpt is Sunday and is a fresh take on Yoga using light weights and cardio. Yin Yoga and Sound Bath is Saturday and features long stretches and live soul-soothing singing bowls.
