It’s Tax Free Weekend in Arkansas
Just in time for back to school shopping, Arkansas is hosting their Tax Free Weekend.
Arkansas sales tax holiday starts at 12:01AM on Saturday, Aug. 5 and ends Sunday, Aug. 6 at 11:59PM.
During the tax free shopping weekend, state and local sales taxes will not be collected which means you could save up to $10 for every $100 you spend. Here are the items that are tax free this weekend:
- Clothing and footwear if the sales price is less than $100 per item
- Clothing and accessories for items less than $50 each
- School supplies
- School art supplies
- School instructional materials
The tax free weekend for Texas will be August 11 through 13.
