I hate to wait for the actual day to vote because my voting place is usually crowded and, it seems like it rains more often than not on election day. Plus the time just changed and it will be way dark by the time most of us get off of work and get to the voting stations.

Voting Early Options in Miller and Bowie Counties:

Arkansas early voting opened on Monday, Oct. 24 and closes on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016. Here are the locations to vote early in Miller County:

• Miller County Courthouse, 400 Laurel Street, Texarkana, Ark., Monday - Friday, 8AM - 6PM, Saturday 10AM - 4PM, one exception is the polls close at 5PM on Nov. 7.
• Hickory Street Baptist Church, 2923 Hickory Street, Texarkana, Ark. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (Oct. 27, 28, 29, Nov. 3, 4 and 5), weekdays 8AM - 6PM, Saturdays 10AM - 4PM.
• Community Center, County Road 10 aka East Red Cut Road, Fouke, Ark., on Thursdays and Fridays (Oct. 27, 28, Nov. 3 and 4), from 8AM - 6PM; and only one Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10AM - 4PM.

Texas early voting opened on Monday, Oct. 24 and closed Friday, Nov. 4.
