Congratulations To Cattleman's Steakhouse

Congratulations to Cattleman's Steakhouse a 2020 Arkansas Food Hall of Fame Winner.

This great award is given to the great folks at Cattleman's, one of the oldest restaurants in Texarkana. This award is given out to a select few restaurants in Arkansas that as the Arkansas Heritage website says:

The award is an effort to recognize the “taste-setters” among us who provide an extra helping of good ol’ Arkansas hospitality.

There is a Youtube channel called 'Our Texarkana' and they feature some great places in Texarkana and Cattleman's is one of my favorites and here is the video of this great Texarkana landmark.

In the video, you get a chance to see behind the scenes of one of Texarkana's oldest restaurants. Joe Oliver goes into detail about how his father started to business in 1964 when Stateline was actually a dirt road.

Cattleman's Restaurant is famous for their Prime Rib. It is one of my favorites as well. Paired up with a twice baked potato and a house salad with their house dressing is my go-to meal. If you would like to see more of the oldest restaurants in Texarkana you can check out my story here.
