Cell Phone Stops a Bullet Saves Clerks Life

A gas station clerk in Winter Garden, Florida is lucky to be alive today after a gunman robbed the counter he was working behind and shot him point blank in the chest.

Normally a bullet to the chest could have you meeting your maker, but this guy was saved by something way cooler than divine intervention.

The bullet was actually stopped in its tracks due to the clerk's smartphone. It proved so effective that the man never realized he'd been shot until paramedics examined him.

The EMT on the scene said he has seen this kind of gunshot almost always be fatal, but the cellphone did something pretty amazing. He added that the gentleman was very lucky to be alive. Check out the picture of the phone.
