Japanese Restaurant Serves Dirt on Their Menu
A new French restaurant in Tokyo that calls itself Ne Quittez Pas has a new featured meal on the menu that features items made of dirt!
The $110 meal that has gotten rave reviews, has dirt featured in all of the items. Here's what the menu consists of:
"The appetizer is a potato starch and dirt soup. Next up is a salad with dirt dressing. The main entrée features an aspic made with oriental clams and the top layer of sediment, and a dirt risotto with sauteed sea bass and burdock root. For dessert, there was dirt ice cream and a dirt gratin. And finally, there was a refreshing dirt mint tea."
After reading the selections, am I the only one that thinks that this might actually taste good? The Japanese have always been pretty cutting edge with their food, so this just might be worth trying.
