Texas A&M-Texarkana's fourth President is now officially on the job.Dr. Emily Cutrer, who is a native Texan, was formally introduced to the community yesterday. It was her first day on the job, after being selected by the A&M Board of Regents earlier this month. Cutrer was named as the lone finalist for the position back in December.

Cutrer is in the process of implementing goals for the University. Texas A&M-Texarkana expanded downward to include freshman and sophomore classes back in 2010 and has added a residence hall.

The campus is one of the fastest growing in the state of Texas with nearly 2000 students having enrolled in the just completed fall semester.
