I am a Texarkana Native, having been born and raised right here. I have been in the Radio Business since October 1982 and have been News & Sports Director since May 1993. I love relaying severe weather and snow reports to our listeners. My most fun is reserved for fall Friday Nights when I have the honor of broadcastin the play-by-play of Arkansas High Razorback Football on Eagle 106.3 FM.

I am married and have two wonderful children, a boy age 8 and a daughter who is 4, they are my life!!!!

I enjoy cooking and eating a batch of good ole Texas Chile and I love snow days!!!!

Bomb Threat Suspect Arrested

A Bomb threat ended with the arrest of a local man. Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the Dollar General Store in the 1300 block of Dudley Street.  Witnesses say a suspect entered the store filled his basket with merchandise and then was unable to provide payment and was asked to leave the store

The Only Snowman In Texarkana This Year??

The snow didn’t last long yesterday after a cold rain washed most of it away by afternoon. However the 1 ½ inches did last long enough for my 9 year old son to build a snowman.

Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect until Noon today across the northern portion of the four states area. Bridges and overpasses have some ice on them and there have been reports of several accidents on Interstate 30 and the Loops around Texarkana

Several overpasses near New Boston Texas in Bowie County are closed this morning after an oversized load traveling eastbound on Interstate 30 struck the FM 993 and the Red Bayou Road overpasses causing damage to both structures

Texarkana Arkansas Police have identified a suspect they allege held up a store over the weekend.  30 year old Johnny Hall is an escapee from a Mississippi Corrections Facility.  He is described as a white male 6’ 3” tall around 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes
