A shooting in Texarkana, Texas sends two people to the hospital. Texas side police say they were called to the 3100 block Meadows Drive early today in reference to a shooting. Polics stopped a vehicle fleeing the scene and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chin.

While at the hospital, investigators say another victim from the same location showed up with a gunshot wound to the hand. Authorities are seeking another man who is said to have been the shooter in both cases. Police say the incident may have been drug related.

Voters in Arkansas have approved renewing the 575 million dollar bond issue to pay for repair and improvements to over 400 miles of Interstate roadways in the state.

In Texas, voters approved 7 out of 10 constitutional amendments in yesterdays voting.

Penn State Football Coach Joe Paterno has decided to retire at the end of this season. The 84 year old says he is " absolutely devestated " by the developments  in the case of Jerry Sandusky, a former defensive coordinator who is accused of molesting at least 8 boys over a 15 year period.
