Daniel, a stray beagle miraculously survived being euthanized in a gas chamber, and his handler stopped by ‘Good Morning America’ to make an appeal for a permanent home. He’s earned it. They now have hundreds of applications to adopt Daniel. Wouldn't it be great of those applicants would now adopt a dog from the shelter?

Three weeks ago, Daniel was sent to be put down along with other 18 dogs in an Alabama animal shelter. But, despite the odds, he survived. Shelter workers decided to give the death-defying dog a second chance by putting him in foster care. That's only fair.

If this story moves you, please understand that thousands of animals lose their life in our country's shelters. Please adopt!
