Chick-fil-a Changes Policy On Marriage And Equality
Chick-fil-a does an about face on their controversial opinion on marriage.
Chick-fil-A has agreed to stop donations from its non-profit charity to anti-gay organizations!
Then, they issued a company-wide internal mandate calling for the equal treatment of all employees and customers.
Recently Dan Cathy the president of Chick-fil-a said he supports the biblical definition of a family unit. There was an Appreciation day on August 1st that former governor Mike Huckabee organized that was a huge success. According to a Chicago-based civil rights group (TCRA), faith-based fried chicken chain Chick-Fil-A is bowing under pressure and changing its tune to a more accepting note on the LGBT community.
Here's what Chick-fil-A’s Senior Director of Real Estate said:
“The WinShape Foundations is now taking a much closer look at the organizations it considers helping, and in that process will remain true to its stated philosophy of not supporting organizations with political agendas.”
Everybody wins when equality is involved!
