My not so favorite time of the year is upon us when we have to fall back to Standard Time.

The change back to Standard Time happens at 2 AM on Sunday morning. So when you go to bed Saturday night remember to set your clocks back one hour. The only advantage to this time change is we get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday morning, but if you are like me you will still get up at your normal time which will be way too early.

The time change will make it lighter by an hour in the morning, which means it will feel like morning with sunrise and you can stop waking your kids up in the dark to go to school. It will also mean kids who ride the bus will not have to wait for the bus in the dark because it should be light by then.

On the other side of the coin, it will get darker an hour earlier in the evening, which is bad for most people who work a regular 8 until 5 jobs.

Standard Time will continue until the second Sunday in March on the 8 th , when once again we will spring forward into another Daylight Saving Time.
