The Texarkana Museum Systems presents "Boogie Fever" Saturday night at the historic 'Ace of Clubs House.

"Boogie Fever" is a chance to live out your dreams of being a disco diva on Saturday night from 7 until 9 pm on the lawn of the historic "Ace Of Clubs House". The dance admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated. All donations go to the 50th anniversary of the Texarkana Museum systems.

The museum system folks want you to know that they want you to dress in your best 70's garb. The event is to bring your own booze, just in case you need a little liquid encouragement to get on the dance floor. You are encouraged to register for the event in advance you can do that here.

The "Ace Of Clubs" house was built in 1885. The historic Ace of Clubs House is on both the State of Texas and National Historic Registers and is an integral part of the landscape of historic downtown Texarkana. Mrs. Olivia Smith Moore donated the unique property, built in the shape of a club, to the Texarkana Museums System in the 1980s to fulfill her desire to help maintain the history of our region. It has been visited by Bob Villa and featured on HGTV's "Christmas Castles".
