The Randy Sams’ Shelter Annual ‘Community Thanksgiving Dinner’ Needs Your Help
The Randy Sams' Shelter is preparing for the annual Thanksgiving community meal. the meal will be served from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thanksgiving day November 28. The Shelter is looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the dinner include serving and food donations. Last year they served over 400 people and they want to be able to handle at least 500 this year.
The Shelter has made a request for certain items.
For those who want to donate, prepared and unprepared food are welcome as well as Plates, Forks, Spoons, Knives, Paper Towels, Cups, Tea, Water, Soda, Kool-Aid, Ice, Cranberry Sauce, Veggies (Corn, Green Beans, Carrots etc.), Rolls, Bread, Turkey, Ham, Chicken, Desserts . Of course volunteers are welcome to come help.
The Randy Sams' Outreach Shelter is located at 402 Oak Street in Texarkana, Texas and is an emergency shelter for adult men and women. The shelter provides its services completely free of charge.
