The Most Dangerous Neighborhoods In Texarkana, Ark.

Garland, Genoa is the safest area to live in on the Texarkana, Ark., side. It makes up the largest area of the Arkansas side and is mostly rural and the Red River makes up most of its borders.

This is another large area and runs along the south State Line area and encompasses the Cooper Tire Plant and surrounding area.

This neighborhood runs from south of Sugar Hill Road and makes up the area around the Texarkana Regional Airport.

This is one of the smaller neighborhoods on the list. It runs from south of Interstate 30 to East 35th Street and east from Jefferson to Four States Parkway.

This area is made up mostly of the industrial park including the Flowers Bakery and the Texarkana Regional Airport.

The neighborhood that comes in at number six runs from south of MLK drive and includes the area around Hobo Jungle and the Miller County Courthouse.

Coming in at number five is what Neighborhood Scout considers the City Center. This area includes the neighborhood from south of East 24th, South to East 9th and from State Line east to Jefferson.

Coming in at fourth is this small neighborhood that runs between State Line and Jefferson. It is south from Interstate 30 to East 24th.

Coming in at number three is the East Broad, Sanderson neighborhood. This area includes Arkansas High and Ed Worrell Park.

The second most dangerous neighborhood in Texarkana, Ark., is this oddly shaped area. It includes most of Preston Street and the Ozan community.
