The Texarkana Texas Farmer’s Market Kicks Off The Season Saturday
The Texarkana Texas farmers market kicks off its season on Saturday in downtown Texarkana in its new location.
Here is what the Texarkana Farmer's Market had to say about this change in venue:
The City of Texarkana, TX Farmers’ Market is set to open for the 2022 summer season on Saturday, April 30th with an exciting new location. This year the Texarkana Farmers’ Market will be located at 500 N State Line Avenue, which is adjacent to the Federal Courthouse and Post Office.
Here is a diagram of what the setup will look like.
During the market season that begins on Saturday through August 6th, the highlighted area in yellow on the diagram will be closed to host the Farmers’ Market each Saturday from 5:30 am until 1 pm. This area will also be closed for the night markets from 5:30 am until 1 pm and again from 4 pm until 8 pm.
The Texarkana Farmers' Market will open from 7 am until noon each Saturday and the night market will take place each third Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
The Market is still accepting applications for additional vendors.
The Texarkana, Texas Farmers' Market is an open-air market in historic downtown Texarkana that provides an avenue for local vendors to sell their products while promoting healthy, locally grown food.
