Did you know you can rent a bike for just $5 from the Museum of Natural History?

Bikes are available Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm and on Sundays from 1 pm until 5 pm. The Texarkana Museum of Natural History is located at 219 Stateline in historic downtown Texarkana.

We certainly hope that the fall 'Bike Tours'  will be coming back in downtown Texarkana.

Fridays in October will be Bike Days this fall in the Downtown Texarkana Arts and Historic District. Here is all the information from their Facebook page.

The tours are made possible through a grant from the Union Pacific Foundation and this Fall we will focus on the history of our downtown churches. To support this effort, free guided bike tours of the District will be offered every Friday in October. Tours will begin and end at the Museum of Regional History and take place from 5:15 – 6:30 PM. Participants will be able to rent a bike from Texarkana’s UPcycle Bike Rental Program or bring their own.

While reservations are not required, bike rentals are limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can rent them here. For more information, please contact the Museum of Regional History at 903-793-4831, or call 903-798-3901 for more details
