Lady Gaga’s Twitter Avatar, Bio Mysteriously Changed

What’s up with Lady Gaga’s Twitter feed?

On Friday, her avatar was changed to that of Twitter’s default image of an egg. In addition, her bio now reads, “This interface has been shutdown [sic] temporarily. Please check back for updates.”

There’s speculation that the changes, especially the one involving the avatar are somehow tied to a possible announcement regarding her next album, ARTPOP, which is expected to drop later this year. If you’ll recall, Gaga was carried down the red carpet at the 2011 Grammys ceremony in a giant egg.
