Have You Been To This Texarkana Hidden Gem Park?
Bringle Lake is a part of Texarkana history. At one time it was the source of water for the town. I wanted to share one of the hidden gems in Texarkana. Bringle Lake Park East.
The Bringle Lake park area actually has two parks Bringle Lake Park West and East. But East Park is where you need to explore this summer.
The sign is unique and gives you a hint of the woodsy nature of the park.
The trailhead sign for the wilderness trail will take you all the way to the spillway and dam for Bringle Lake
Here is the sign that shows you all of the walking and biking trails in the park.
There is even a little free library. If you want to know more check out my story on these cool libraries.
This is a quick view that shows how wooded and shady this park is, even in the middle of the day.
Yes you can fish off of the deck, but you need to look out for alligators, no I am serious there are alligators in the lake.
There are 10 different picnic areas for you to enjoy and here are just two of those areas with one in the middle of the park and the other closer to the water.
You can see each area has its own water and grill as the picnic table and benches for you to sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
And the cherry on top of this great park is the actual park itself. With swings, slides, and those logs as well as that crazy spinning globe thingy. My kids love that thing even though it makes them sick. There is plenty to experience in one of Texarkana's hidden gems.
