The Dunkin' Donuts in Texarkana is pretty new and they are already dropping items from their menu and I am not happy about it.

The changes to the menu will make it easier and more efficient to get your orders correct and to you faster. The Boston Herald did a story and Chris Fuqua senior vice president of operations and strategy and supply chain says.

Franchisees have been asking for something like this for quite some time. They’re facing challenges with labor, and we’re always looking to maximize profitability for franchisees. If you can remove products that are more difficult to make or consumers aren’t asking for as much, you can make the stores easier to work in, and you can positively impact their profit and loss statement.

Items that will be dropped include smoothies, afternoon sandwiches, like turkey and ham and my favorite the Big Toasted Angus and Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich. There will be some bagels and peach, mocha, and caramel flavored coffee shots. The changes should go into full effect by mid-March.
