CASA Colorful Fun Run is Saturday, Sept. 24

The fourth annual Amanda Fussell Woodman Memorial CASA Colorful 5K and Family Fun Run will be held on Saturday, September 24 at Trinity Baptist Church.

Grab your family and friends support this event at Trinity's cross country track. Have fun running through the colorful bursts of fun and support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which provides assistance to more than 1,000 abused and neglected children in our community annually.

Register now online or at the event on Saturday. Early registration is at 8AM. A special children’s run begins at 8:30AM. The adult 5K is at 9AM. Bring the kids along to enjoy fun events like the bounce house, magician, snow cones and other family fun.

The run or walk stretches across a 3.1 mile area on a cross country trail. The run begins on an open field and winds through a dirt trail. The family walk will be on the sidewalk around the church for a one mile walk. Be sure to wear clothing that you won't be upset if the color doesn't come out in the wash.

What is a Colorful Run?

The race begins with each participant releasing a bag of color into the air creating a beautiful burst of color! Stations will also be located throughout the race route for you to be showered with brightly colored powder to turn your white shirt into a color explosion. The color is made from eco-friendly food colored cornstarch. Most of the powder will come out but there may be some residue.
