Manslaughter Charged In Monday Shooting Death Of Atlanta, Texas Teen
Atlanta, Texas Police have arrested a 19-year-old young man and charged him with Manslaughter in the shooting death of another Atlanta teenager Monday.
Atlanta Police have arrested and charged Cody Raymond Maxie Jr., 19, in the shooting death of Brandon Sprayberry, 18, following an incident outside of a residence this past Monday, November 7.
According to the report on the Atlanta PD Facebook Page, around 5:00 PM Officers responded to a shooting that had apparently just occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Pecan Lane. There the Officers located an eighteen-year-old male subject who had sustained what turned out to be a fatal gunshot wound, lying in the yard of the residence there. The victim, Brandon Sprayberry, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers arrested Cody Raymond Maxie Jr., 19, of Atlanta, Texas, at the scene in connection with the fatal shooting of Sprayberry. Maxie was then booked into the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Jail Division on a charge of Manslaughter, a 2nd Degree Felony.
