As one can imagine, this is a pretty rough time to deliver a speech on the state of the State, but that's exactly what Governor Asa Hutchison did on Wednesday, April 8.

The Governor delivered his address from the Senate Chamber in the Capitol City of Little Rock Wednesday while members of the House watched virtually from another location.

The tone of the speech was very positive in the midst of such strange times during the pandemic. The Governor stated;

“We may make mistakes, but make no mistake – our eyes are fixed on our next opportunity, our next challenge, and our next future victories. We will do what Americans and Arkansans have always done. We will be strong, and we will prevail.”
