An animated short movie directed by German filmmaker Jacob Frey has won over 50 awards in its run at film festivals over the past two years.

The movie that is only about three minutes long, but has won the Austin Film Festival's Animated Short Audience Award, it won Best Animation at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, the Cartoon Kids Award at the International Festival of Animation Cinema and Comics Cartoon Club and many, many more.

It starts off a little weird, but definitely finds a way to pull at your heart strings by the end. It's almost worth watching a second time, just to fully understand the young boy's attitude toward his present.
