Texarkana, Arkansas Board of Directors Allows 1.6 Million Dollar Loan For Water Park Complex

The city board voted in favor of the ordinance allowing the city to borrow  around $1.6 million dollars to help fund the Arkansas Convention Center and the adjacent Holiday Springs Water Park.The complex is being built by local investor Dr. Hiren Patel. The water park is scheduled to be open in time for the Summer 2013 swimming season and will feature many water slides, wave pool and other water fun.

The hotel and convention center complex is currently under construction and will be competing with a hotel/convention center which is already open and operating in Texarkana, Texas.
