The Texarkana Texas Police say a large amount of drugs estimated at around $70,000 was seized from a residence and the suspect jailed.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department Special Investigation Unit arrested 25 year old Ikee Wyrick, during a search warrant at his residence in the 1700 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on Wednesday.

Officers served the search warrant at approximately 11:00AM. Inside the residence, they discovered what is believed to be 19.5 pounds of marijuana, 31 grams of cocaine, 1,238 Xanax pills, and 3 tablets of MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy). Officers also say they seized an undisclosed amount of cash found hidden throughout the house and a loaded pistol.

Wyrick was arrested and transported to the Bi-State Jail, where he is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.

The investigation is continuing.
