Kittens to Adopt at the Animal Shelter in Texarkana

So often I feature the dogs at the animal shelter but there are also so many cats and kittens available for adoption. They have a cat room that is full of wonderful cats and kittens that you can watch play in their cat enclosure. We are still in the middle of kitten season and there are tons of babies still being born. Check out these adorable kittens.

The shelter's adoption fees range from $40 to $144, depending on the gender and size of the animal or whether they have been spayed or neutered yet. You can also have your pet microchipped for only $20 at the shelter. That way if your pet is ever lost, he or she can be returned to you quickly.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center is located at 203 Harrison St., Texarkana, Ark. 71854 and is open Monday through Friday from 11AM and 5PM and Saturdays from 11AM to 2PM.

We also have cat rescues in Texarkana. Stray Cat Alliance and Bobby Cats are two of the rescues in our area that are specifically for cats. There are always cats and kittens available for adoption in the cat room at PetSmart as well. That room is managed by the Texarkana Animal League.
