This is an equestrian event. Grab a horse and get ready to ride ride miles of trails and watch the chuck wagon races on Saturday, July 22, at Hillarosa ATV Park 6252 Highway 29 N, Blevins, Arkansas.

Make art and memories with your child on Saturday, July 22, from 1PM to 4PM. This is a come-and-go, open-ended parent and child art making session. Geared towards children ages 4 - 11, a parent or guardian is required to be present (no drop-offs). Dress for a mess. On Saturday, July 22, at 10AM, after a year of renovations and expansion at the shelter and the brand new outreach center, the community is invited to join in for the open house, ribbon cutting, and dedication of the Eric Denson Memorial Garden. At 10AM at the shelter at 402 Oak Street there will be a blessing of the building and tours. Then at 11AM the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony at the new Outreach Center at 803 Spruce Street. On Saturday, July 22, from 10AM to 4PM, the Texarkana Museums System will dig into the complex histories of Bowie and Miller Counties with speakers Nancy Tribbey, President of the Texarkana Genealogical Society, and Christine Woodrow, Director of the New Boston Public Library. There is a complex history of the two counties. Some topics of discussion will include how Old Miller County once encompassed part of what was then Mexico and why there are three Bostons. On Friday, July 21 at 12PM, a women only shopping expo kicks off and ends at noon on Saturday, July 22. Get away for the night with the girls and celebrate Christmas in July and shop "For a Cause." The shopping expo includes over 50 home based vendors and direct sales consultants and distributors.

Tickets are available for $100 and include your one-night hotel stay at Hilton Garden Inn, registration to the event, free door prize tickets and food. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Friends For A Cause Foundation, a local nonprofit that raises money to help cancer patients of any kind with expenses that insurance does not cover.
