Provide a Pet a Pad Tuesday

ADOPTED! Meet our in-studio guest today: Zink! An adorable and fluffy Pomeranian that is super smart, very calm, incredibly sweet and loves affection. He is approximately two and one-half years old. Check out more photos and his video below. There are also videos of all the adoptable dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.

Our local animal shelter currently has over 70 dogs, many puppies, over 30 cats and kittens available for adoption. There are many others waiting for their chance to get on the adoption floor so please consider adding a furry friend to your family. The fee to adopt a dog is only $40 and just $20 for a cat.

Now through the end of October, Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital is starting a drive to Chip Texarkana by micro-chipping your pet . For each pet that is chipped, $10 will be donated to the local animal rescue or local animal shelter of your choice.

Meet our in-studio guest today: Mercedes is a chihuahua mix. She is approximately one year old. A super sweet little girl that is scared to death. Almost as much as Brandie Bristow, our volunteer for the morning!

Mercedes just chilled out in the studio with us. She likes to lay at your feet, where she feels safe. Her adorable personality and her quarter-tail set her out of the brown-dog group.

Our local animal shelter currently has 80 dogs, 13 puppies, 37 cats and 23 kittens for adoption. Last week 77 animals were euthanized and there were 15 adoptions. The fee to adopt a dog is only $40 and just $20 for a cat.

Meet our in-studio guest today: Ally is approx 4 to 5 months old. She's a sweetheart. Cattle dog/Terrier/German Shepherd mixed pup. She and her 2 siblings (Addison & Terry) are also at our local animal shelter waiting to be adopted. Smart dogs. Ally is great on a leash for a puppy that has probably never been on a leash.

Meet our in-studio guest today: Hopper, 1 year old little-dog mix. Has a cute under bite too! Hopper is very smart and appears to have some house training. He was very quiet in our studios and well-behaved. He is adorable!

Ace is a 4 1/2 month old Pointer mix pup that was found wondering the streets of Texarkana. Ace is just looking for a happy home with lots of love and maybe a few bone treats. He walks well on a leash. Likes to go for rides in the car, he sleeps. He takes treats super easy and doesn’t jump up. He has a lot of potential!
