Finally, the world is getting some new songs by Carly Rae Jepsen.  The Canadian chart-topper will release her eagerly-awaited U.S. debut album, Kiss, on September 18.

In a statement, Carly Rae said of the album, "These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the year.  I can't tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers.  It has been the most fulfilling experience."  Among Carly's collaborators on the disc: LMFAO's Redfoo and hitmaking songwriters and producers Max Martin, Toby Gad and Dallas Austin.

Describing the disc as "pop," Carly explains that it's influenced by Madonna, the '80s New Wave band The Cars, Swedish songstress Robyn and "believe it or not, James Taylor."  She adds, "I can't wait to share it with everyone! Kiss."

Carly Rae will promote the new disc with a slew of TV appearances, including America's Got Talent on August 22, NBC's Today show on August 23, Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the U.S. Open on CBS on August 26, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on August 28 andConan on August 29.
