Wow! A&M-Texarkana Launches Family Nurse Practitioner Program This Fall
In Texarkana, we have great university and college programs and it just keeps better. If you are a nurse and are ready to take yourself to the next level then get ready because Texas A&M University-Texarkana just announced they will be launching its newest nursing program. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program and it will be offered this fall.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying applications are being accepted now.
This program will focus on rural healthcare and is for nurses who have earned either a baccalaureate or master's degree in nursing.
Dr. Heather McKnight, the Director of Nursing at A&M-Texarkana said in a press release;
The addition of our Family Nurse Practitioner program, which focuses on rural healthcare needs and delivery, allows Texas A&M University-Texarkana to continue to meet the healthcare needs of patients in Texarkana and throughout the East Texas region.
Some of the admission requirements for this Family Nurse Practitioner program at A&M-Texarkana include a baccalaureate degree in nursing from an institution of higher education that is both accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency and either the NLNAC or the CCNE and a minimum of one year experience as Registered Nurse (RN).
