What Is Your Favorite Dog Breed?

In honor of 'National Pet Day', I wanted to know what is your favorite breed of dog?.

The website Franchise Opportunities had a story talking about the most popular dog breeds by state and the answers in this story really shocked me.

The French Bulldog is popular in Rhode Island, New York, Florida, Illinois, and Massachusetts. Little cute Chihuahuas are popular in New Mexico, Louisiana has a favorite in the St. Bernard, kind of a weird choice since you seem to think those dogs would only like cold climates.

Now for the two states, we live in. In Texas, the most favorite dog breed is the Doberman Pinscher. It is also the most popular breed in Kentucky, Kansas, Indianan, Ohio, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

In Arkansas, the favorite dog breed is a Poodle, yes a Poodle. When it comes to the most popular dog breeds in the country, Doberman Pinscher is number one with the second being the French Bulldog and the Rottweiler in third place.
