Usher is separating from his wife, Grace Miguel after two years of marriage.

The couple announced their split to US Weekly.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward," the statement reads.

According to US Weekly, the couple actually separated back in December 2017 but are just making the news public. Usher, 39, and Grace, 48, began dating back in 2009, following the singer's split to his first wife, Tameka Foster. Grace, who is Usher's manager and serves on the board of his New Look Foundation, married Usher in 2015. The couple honeymooned in Cuba.

The separation comes after two women came forward and accused Usher of giving them herpes. At the time, Grace told TMZ that the couple was "living their lives" in response to the accusations. As of now, no divorce documents have been filed but with the separation announcement, it's likely to come to soon.

About a week ago, the singer posted a picture of himself getting a chin tattoo and captured it, "new era, new ink."
