Train Engine Catches Fire in Liberty-Eylau

It was hot yesterday, and things got a little hotter in the L-E community when a train engine caught fire and burned.

Texarkana Texas Police tell us the engine caught fire on a railroad track behind the C.K. Bender Elementary School. Flames could be seen shooting over 30 feet in the air.

No injuries were reported and the investigation into what caused the train engine fire is underway. The Liberty-Eylau Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze.

Good thing school ended a week ago.
