The Pelican Has Arrived! New Restaurant Now Open in Texarkana

The Pelican has arrived! Texarkana's newest seafood restaurant has opened its doors at 2415 Arkansas Blvd.

The Pelican Fish and Seafood restaurant is offering Texarkana some of the freshest seafood around with a comfortable beach-type setting that makes you feel like you are dining surfside in a tropical location.

I had the opportunity to dine there on opening day and I ordered the American Farm Raised 3-piece Catfish Dinner it was scrumptious, and the fish was flaky and tender, the meal came with pinto beans, hushpuppies, and two sides I went with french fries and asparagus.

My friend had the same thing but chose a loaded baked potato with her meal.

Then we shared a slice of homemade toffee cheesecake that was out of this world delicious.

The Pelican Fish and Seafood restaurant has a great selection of food for those with a hearty appetite or who just want something on the lighter side from their full-service salad bar.

From steaks to seafood, Po-boy sandwiches, and chicken wings you're going to love the Pelican restaurant! Make sure you try their Surf and Turf platter. And you will love cool drinks like cocktails, beer, and wine from their full-service bar.

Kitchen Staff

The friendly kitchen staff and waiters and waitresses were very accommodating in making sure you were taken care of the minute you walked through the door.

Hours Open

The Pelican Fish and Seafood is open Tuesday - Saturday from 4 PM to 10 PM. Danny McVay invites all his friends and new customers to come out and try the new restaurant.
