Texas DPS Issues ‘Silver Alert’ For Missing Atlanta, TX Woman
Texas DPS issued a "Silver Alert" Sunday afternoon for a missing Cass County woman, have you seen her?
Sunday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens began searching for a missing woman named Kathleen Spanel, then around 2:30 Sunday afternoon an official "Silver Alert" was issued from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Ms. Spanel is said to be a 64-year-old white female, last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. She has grey and white hair and stands approximately 5'6" tall, weighs about 130 Ibs, and has blue eyes. She was last observed possibly walking toward State Highway 77.
Ms. Spanel is described as very weak and frail, she does suffer from hallucinations, but she is nonviolent. Police say she apparently walked away from her home about 7:40 AM Sunday morning at 1121 CR 3214 in AtlantaTexas, just off State Highway 77.
