Texarkana Arkansas Police Arrest Juvenile in Recent Shooting

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has arrested a juvenile and expect other arrests in connection with a shooting earlier this month,

Police say a 16 year old juvenile has been taken into custody for the recent shooting that occurred on Thursday October 5, in the 1300 block of East 35^th Street.  During the incident two individuals were shot and a residence in the area was pelted with gunfire.

The juvenile has been charged with 9 counts of Terroristic Act, 23 counts of Aggravated Assault, and two counts of Battery 2^nd.  Additional warrants for two juveniles are currently pending.

Police were called initially to an altercation outside the Quill Creek Apartments, when suspects began firing at several people involved in the disturbance.
