Taylor Swift Premiering 23rd Music Video on Her 23rd Birthday Thursday
Taylor Swift will debut her 23rd music video, "I Knew You Were Trouble," on MTV on Thursday, her 23rd birthday. The clip co-stars Reeve Carney of Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark as Taylor's bad-boy love interest.
Taylor says the new video is a departure from her previous work. She tells MTV, "I knew I wanted the video to be different from anything we'd done ever done. I wanted to tell the story of a girl who falls into a world that's too fast for her, and suffers the consequences."
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" video will premiere at 4:40 p.m. ET on MTV Thursday. MTV.com has now posted a photo gallery from the shoot and will feature a video chronology of Taylor's previous 22 music videos starting Tuesday.
