TAPD Wanted Wednesday – Kimberly Thacker-North
Texarkana Arkansas Police need your help in locating a woman that allegedly helped steal a truck from a local business. The TAPD's weekly Facebook post Wanted Wednesday says they are interested in finding Kimberly Thacker-North.
TAPD's Facebook post stated:
Recently, we had a truck stolen from a business. A couple days after the theft, an employee spotted the stolen truck and followed it. There were two people in the stolen truck at the time, but they fled on foot prior to law enforcement arrival. The truck was recovered, but we were unable to locate either suspect.
Photographic evidence and latent fingerprints were used to identify the female occupant in the truck as Kimberly Thacker-North. Detectives were able to make contact with Thacker-North by phone, but she refused to come speak with them to explain her presence in a stolen vehicle. Warrants were then obtained for Theft by Recieving (being in possession of stolen property). Thacker-North was made aware of the warrants and she originally expressed an intent to come turn herself in. To date, she has failed to do so. We're now seeking help from our Facebook followers to help locate Thacker-North.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of this woman please call 911, or contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 903-798-3154. You can also contact the Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
