bad weather

It's cold and raining. Most schools are back to their normal schedule today February 2, 2023. There are a few to make note of:

Most of us drive to work every day and like me wonder how in the world did these people learn to drive? Well the website  Safewise did a story on the worst states for driving in bad weather and guess which state came in first?

There is a 30% chance of thunderstorms today in the Texarkana area. North of our area has a greater chance of storms and at an increased intensity.

According to the weather forecast Texarkana had a 30% chance of rain last night. At my house it was 100 percent chance of hail!

There are a few schools and businesses that are closed and a few starting late.  Texarkana Schools are open today at the normal time.  So far these are the schools that are closed today (Thursday): Foreman, Blevins, Horatio, Dierks,  Ashdown, Nevada County. Schools and businesses that will start late: Lafayette County AR, will open 1 hour late, McLeod will start at 10am, Avery starts at 10am, UACC
