Stud Muffin Contest Saturday at the Elks Lodge in Texarkana

It will be a very busy day this Saturday at the Elke's Texas Lodge #2771 located at 3702 New Boston Rd this Saturday, but a great day for area Veterans.

3rd Saturday Veterans Breakfast

The Elkes will start the day with something they do on the 3rd Saturday of every month, they call it Elke's Breakfast and it's FREE for Veterans, Law Enforcement, and First Responders in uniform. All others are welcome too for a nominal charge of just $5.

Serving begins at 7 AM and will continue until 11: AM.

Vets will also have the chance to grab some information they might need or want during the Veterans Information Fair that begins at 9 AM.

Floor Show

But whatever you do, don't miss the Stud Muffin fundraiser Saturday night. This is where a bunch of dudes, some you may know, will be dressing up as women and strutting their stuff in hopes you will give them some tip money. It's all in good fun to raise money for the Elke's to continue the good works they do for Veterans and children here in our community.

There's no charge to get in that night and there will be finger foods available, so bring some $1's, $5's, $10's, etc to stuff in the "LADIES" purses as to who you think deserves it most. Or simply make a donation at the door.

The food starts at 6 PM, the show starts at 7:30.
