The 3rd week of May was just a teenie-bit better than the second week, but, better is better, we'll take it. Your Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies had 90 total arrests last week, 32 of which were by BCSO, and another 58 were turned over by other law enforcement agencies to Bowie County.

It will be a very busy day this Saturday at the Elke's Texas Lodge #2771 located at 3702 New Boston Rd this Saturday, but a great day for area Veterans.

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 132 positive COVID-19 cases, with 84 recoveries and 12 related deaths. Cass County has a total of 28 with 20 recovered. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice reports 72 positive cases at the Barry B. Telford Unit.
