Silvermoon Children’s Theatre Presents ‘Pollyanna’
Silvermoon Children’s Theatre will present Pollyanna from April 27-30.
Pollyanna is story about a young orphan who goes to live with her wealthy but stern, spinster Aunt Polly, who does not want to take in Pollyanna but feels it is her duty to her late sister.
Pollyanna's philosophy of life centers on an optimistic and positive attitude she learned from her father. Her outlook on life is finding something to be glad about in every situation, no matter how bleak it may be.
With this philosophy, and her own sunny personality, Pollyanna brings so much gladness to everyone she meets and transforms the glum and dreary New England town into a pleasant place to live.
Eventually, however, even Pollyanna's optimism is put to the test when she is has an accident. Will the gladness she spread before her accident be enough to help Pollyanna get well?.
