In addition to being a coach on The Voice, Shakira is a new mom to son Milan, whose father is her boyfriend, soccer star Gerard Piqué.  And in the new issue of ELLEmagazine, for which she's the cover girl, the entertainer says her relationship with Piqué literally restored her faith in God.

"I think, if you can prove the existence of God, it can only be proven through love," Shakira tells ELLE.  "I even had lost my faith for a while. I was becoming...agnostic.  And it was really hard, because I was always very religious, and for a few years, maybe because...I was not feeling...love like it was supposed to be, I started to think that there was no God."

But all that changed when she and Piqué got together.  "Suddenly I meet Gerard and the sun comes out," she says.

So why is their relationship better than others Shakira has had?  "He has his own world...I know that he's the one person who is with me not because of any interest other than the love that unites us," she explains.  "There's nothing I can offer him beyond my womanhood."  Then, Shakira adds, "Does that word exist in English?"

As for her time on The Voice, the singer jokes, "In general, I think I've treated the boys with mercy."  She'll be leaving the show next season and returning to her day job as a global music superstar, but Shakira notes that her next album is kind of up in the air.

"I have no idea of where I want to go musically, but I'm fine that way.  I don't need to remain faithful to any concept, y'know."
