This is the final weekend before Christmas, maybe it's time to take a little road trip to Lindale, Texas for a visit to Santa Land Texas, the Original Drive-Thru Park just minutes from Tyler.

This is one for your bucket list MUST SEE attractions and for many families has become an annual tradition. This 24-acre East Texas park is transformed into a wonderland of lights with over 2.5 million lights light all surrounded by the piney woods. With tons of vibrant displays, themed areas at every turn, and holiday music, Santa Land Texas has been delighting visitors young and old since 1995. The best part about this park is all the magical hand-crafted, animated and mechanical displays you will see including the infamous "Tunnel of Lights" featuring 25,000 flashing, dancing lights, as you exit the 250-foot tunnel.

The park is open rain or shine now through Jan. 4, 2019 and there is always something new each year. Just make sure you get there as early as possible because of the long lines getting into the park. While you're waiting in line make sure and check out the Snack Shack and Gift Shop for some hot chocolate, homemade apple cider or a photo with Santa Claus.
