Ralph Lauren announces today the next series of its iconic reissues. Reintroducing this spring, the Polo CP-93 capsule collections, Ralph Lauren finds inspiration in the brand’s 1992 sponsorship of the America’s Cup in San Diego, Calif. and the nautical collection that released in 1993.

Releasing in May, the Polo CP-93 limited-edition capsule collection features 24 modernized styles, inspired by the original collection and early ’90s scarf designs with sailing-inspired prints. Bright primary colors, allover graphic prints, sailing motifs, and the signature “CP RL-93” logo appear throughout the capsule.

Standout items include the nylon windbreaker, featuring a boat-race scene, drawstring swim trunks with an all-over nautical signal flag print; oversized color-blocked pullovers with coordinating track pants and a embroidered nautical camp hats.

Originally unveiled at the America’s Cup in 1992, Ralph Lauren designed uniforms for the American team, including the “CP RL-92” logo. A year later Ralph Lauren debuted the CP-93 collection, with a “CP RL-93” logo to match.

The limited-edition Polo CP-93 collection will be available starting May 31 at RalphLauren.com and at select global Polo Ralph Lauren stores. A wider release of the Polo CP-93 collection for men, women and kids will release in mid-April, and available at RalphLauren.com.
